There are various ways in which to communicate with people of the opposite sex and for those that do not currently have a partner one way in which they may choose to remedy this is by hiring an escort. Now there is a commonly held stereotype that escorts are merely sex workers, but in fact escort agencies can provide clients with people that cover services related to many different areas. It means that although sexually orientated services can be included, they are not just limited to this kind of activity.

Escorts can often be found through a variety of different means. They will often advertise through websites, magazines, newspapers or they will work for an escort agency who will find them work.

But what kinds of things to escorts do? Some will simply accompany a man or a woman (who is single) to social events so that they do not have to go alone. These kinds of events could range from parties to bigger events such as wedding receptions or high school reunions. This means that escorts will have to have a number of skills outside of the ones on the surface – if someone wants them to accompany them to a high school reunion then chances are that person wants others to believe the escort is their partner. In this case the escort would need to act in such a way as to make this believable. Others might hire the escort for longer durations but for similar purposes, for occasions such as holidays, business trips or others. But it might not be a social event or a trip that someone needs a partner for. Someone might be single and lonely and merely want to hire someone to keep them company. This can range from those of the older generation to younger people.

But sex can come into it. Usually this can cost extra on top of the initial cost of hiring the escort. These kinds of experiences can range from full sexual intercourse to simple role playing in which the escort carries out certain fetishes that the person might have. These fetishes can be various in nature and differ wildly from person to person.

So escorts are not just sex workers; there is a lot more to it than that. To put it simply, escorts will usually charge more for sexual work.
